Join us for our next Iboga Retreat Portugal 2026 which includes 5 days of transformation and 1 iboga ceremonies in a beautiful retreat centre an hour outside Porto. BUFO - A Profund Journey Into pure Conscousness
Bufo is a powerful entheogenic medicine derived from the Bufo Alvarius toad and containing high doses of 5-MEO-DMT. Often described as a non-dual or mystical experience, Bufo facilitates a profound experiences of expanded awareness and has the potential of bringing on a temporary dissolution of the ego and a direct encounter with unity, presence, and pure consciousness. That said, each person’s experience is unique and unfolds in its own way.
A Bufo experience is short, with the most intense portion lasting approximately 10-20 minutes and overall effects lasting up to 40 minutes. A session will go for about 60-75min with time to ground both before and after receiving the medicine. The session is supported with sound healing and light energy work as needed.

Iboga and Bufo work very well together, in that doing Iboga before Bufo provides for a more enhanced and potent Bufo journey with greater impact, clarity and recollection. Likewise, many people often find that doing Bufo directly after Iboga is a beneficial way to conclude an Iboga retreat and reconnect to the cosmic joy and the divinity within that Bufo often provides a gateway to.

Hosting Site Details & Accomodations
This Iboga Retreat Portugal 2026 is hosted at a beautiful village-style location on 30 hectares of partially forested land, an hour drive from Porto International Airport (from where we'll retrieve and return you). The retreat centre features both open and forested areas, beautiful gardens, a natural swimming pool (no chlorine), and a creek running through it. Enjoy a waterfall and excellent swimming holes as well. The site has wonderful facilities including main gathering spaces and cottages with private or shared rooms. Private Rooms, shared rooms, and camping are available.
Food as Medicine
Meals & Nourishment - Portugal Iboga Retreat
The kitchen has had a long practice in catering food and takes great pride and pleasure in creating carefully prepared meals, snacks, and nourishment specifically tailored to the medicines and ceremonies we are offering. The Iboga Medicine is best received on a clean and healthy diet, with no food after 2PM on ceremony day until the following morning.
For this reason, the food is organic, vegetarian, sustainably-sourced, free range, and natural as much as possible. There will be protein options for meat and fish. We can also cater for dietary restrictions as needed.
